In Maharashtra, trends are available for 48 seats. BJP is leading in 15 seats, Shiv Sena is ahead in 10 seats and NCP in one seat. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackrey) is leading in four seats, Congress in eight seats and NCP (Sharad Pawar) is leading in seven seats. Rashtriya Samaj Paksha is ahead in one seat while AIMIM is leading in one seat. Independent candidate is ahead in one seat.
Among prominent candidates, BJP leaders Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur, Piyush Goyal in Mumbai North and Ujwal Nikam in Mumbai North-Central are leading while Shiv Sena leaders Dr Shrikant Eknath Shinde in Kalyan and Rahul Ramesh Shewale in Mumbai South – Central are leading. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackrey) leaders Sanjay Dina Patil in Mumbai North-East and Arvind Ganpat Sawant in Mumbai South and Congress leader Chhatrapati Shahu Shahaji in Kolhapur are leading. NCP (Sharad Pawar), Dr. Amol Ramsing Kolhe is leading in Shirur. NCP candidate Tatkare Sunil Dattatrey is ahead in the Raigad seat.
