The traffic movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) between Nashri and Banihal will remain suspended tonight due to some urgent maintenance work.
Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports, due to some urgent repair work on the strategic National Highway, no movement of any kind of vehicle including fresh perishable/livestock will be allowed on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) today after 6 PM from Qazigund towards Ramban.
Similarly, no vehicular movement will be allowed from Nagrota in Jammu after 5 PM and from Udhampur after 6 PM.
The traffic department has advised commuters to avoid journeys on the national highway till work is completed and plan their journey accordingly.
Commuters are advised to contact the Traffic Control Unit (TCU), Ramban for the latest update on the National Highway at 9419993745, 1800-180-7043.
