Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has resigned from his post. Mr Soren has sent his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan. The Executive President of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Hemant Soren is all set to take over the reins of Jharkhand again. Hemant Soren along with MLAs of JMM,Congress and RJD is scheduled to meet Governor to stake claim for formation of new government in the state.
Hemant Soren had resigned from the post of Chief Minister when he was arrested by the ED on 31st January this year in a money laundering case.
