In Jammu and Kashmir, the election authorities have registered 11 FIRs in connection with poll-related violations. Chief Electoral Officer, Pandurang K Pole said, 234 complaints of violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) have been received since March 16 and 11 FIRs registered after taking cognizance of these complaints. The CEO also issued notice in 80 complaints and inquiry has been initiated in 29 complaints.
