Home voting process has started from today through Form 12-D for voters above 85 years of age and more than 40 percent disabled for the Lok Sabha elections and by-elections on 6 assembly seats to be held on June 1 in Himachal Pradesh.
Under this process, mobile polling parties will reach door to door to get elderly and disabled voters to vote. Chief Electoral Officer Manish Garg told in a special conversation with Akashvani Shimla that for this, more than 700 polling teams have been deployed across the state and this process will be completed by May 29.
