Rivers in a large section of Sunderban are flowing with much water. Control room has been opened at block and subdivision level. Earlier river banks in Gangasagar, Mausuni island, Gobardhanpur of Pathar Pratima and Ghoramara areas were flooded and embankment breached due to heavy rain and tide. A yellow warning of rain has been forecasted today.
