Heavy Rains Continue To Lash South Gujarat Region For Last 3 Days

Heavy rains continue to lash south Gujarat region for last three days. More than 6 tehsils of South Gujarat region recieved more than 4 inches of rainfall during the last 24 hours leading to waterlogging in many places. According to the State Emergency Operation Centre Umarpada in Valsad district recorded the highest five inches of rainfall during the last 24 hours. 
More than 33 tehsils of the states recorded light to medium rainfall till 12 am today with Dolvan in Tapi district recorded the highest 4 inches rainfall.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rains accompanied by thunderstorm at many places the districts of Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha in North Gujarat, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Navsari and Valsad in South Gujarat today.
