In Haryana, flights from Ambala airport will start from 15th August. Haryana’s Civil Aviation Minister Dr Kamal Gupta gave this information today. He said that in a review meeting held today with the officials of the Civil Aviation, Electricity, Public Works and Fire Services Department in Chandigarh, the officials have been instructed to complete various works including boundary wall, parking area, main building, entrance road, canteen and water tank in the airport before August 15.
Dr Kamal Gupta said that the runway of Ambala Air Force Station will be used for take-off and landing of aircraft at Ambala airport. Passengers from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh adjoining Haryana will also benefit from this airport.
