In Ladakh, Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Baroo, Kargil, resonated with the spirit of humanitarianism and solidarity as it observed International Red Cross Day with a memorable event.      
 
The occasion brought together a diverse array of guests and participants, highlighting the timeless values of compassion and service to humanity.
 
On this occasion the Chief Education Officer SD Nyamgyal, was the Chief Guest who started the event with a unified call for compassion and solidarity. Mr. Nyamgyal emphasized the importance of these values in navigating today’s challenges, urging all present to uphold the principles of the Red Cross movement.
 
The Special guest Dr. Ghulam from District Hospital Kargil shed light on the crucial work of healthcare professionals, especially during times of crisis.
 
Principal HBHSS Baroo Tsewang Dorjay, alongside representatives from UTDRF team Kargil and volunteers from Indian Red Society Kargil, highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing humanitarian causes. Their presence exemplified the spirit of unity and collective action in addressing societal challenges.
 
The event also saw active participation from students, staff members, and volunteers, including Ahmad Hussain from Indian Red Society Kargil. Their engagement in various activities showcased the enthusiasm and dedication of the younger generation towards promoting humanitarian values.
