Election Campaign Intensifies For Jharkhand’s Lok Sabha Seats In 4th Phase

The campaign for the four Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand going to polls in 4th phase are in full swing. Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today addressed an election meeting in favour of the party candidate and cabinet minister Arjun Munda at the Kachhari ground in Khunti. He slammed the Indi alliance saying this opportunistic alliance did not do anything for the welfare of the tribals. Mr. Shah said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee created Jharkhand and the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working for its development. On the other hand, senior party leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting in Dumka in favour of party candidate Sita Soren. He also led a road show in favour of party candidate Nishikant Dubey in Godda. In his address, Mr. Singh mentioned the steps taken by the Central Government for the welfare of people. Our correspondent reports that several other leaders also participated in the election campaign today.
 
Akashwani Correspondent reports State president of BJP, Babulal Marandi while addressing a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Tala Marandi from Rajmahal seat, said that only BJP can build a better Jharkhand. On the other hand, Senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and Chief Minister Champai Soren held election rallies in favor of the party candidates in Dumka and Rajmahal seats. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also addressed election meetings in Ranka of Palamu Lok Sabha constituency today.
