A female Maoist has been killed in an encounter with security forces on Tuesday in Kanker district, Chhattisgarh. The encounter took place in Binagunda forest when a joint team of DRG, Bastar Fighters and BSF was on a search operation in Chhotabethia area. After the gun battle, the dead body of the Maoist, along with a huge quantity of weapons including two rifles have been recovered from the spot.
