Bihar governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have expressed deep grief over the demise of senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi. In his condolence message, Mr. Arlekar said Sushil Kumar Modi was an ardent follower of Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan and he will be remembered as crusader against corruption.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar remembering his long association with the BJP leader said he was a dedicated statesman. Mr. Kumar said he has lost a good friend and dedicated leader. Speaker of Bihar Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav, leader of opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, several union ministers and different party leaders have expressed their condolences over the demise of Sushil Kumar Modi.
