Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today visited three Northern districts of the state to review multiple projects. The tour began with the Chief Minister’s visit to the Polavaram left the main canal at Darlapudi in the Anakapalli district. He inspected the progress of the Polavaram left canal, which is significant for irrigation and flood control in the region. Addressing a public meeting, the Chief Minister assured to bring 2500 cusecs of water to the Anakapalli district through Purushottapatnam and Pushkara lift irrigation projects before completing the Polavaram project.
Later in the day, the Chief Minister along with the Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu conducted an aerial visit to the Bhogapuram International Airport in Vizianagaram district. Speaking to the media, Mr. Naidu assured that the construction of the first phase of Bhogapuram airport will be completed by June, 2026. In the evening, the Chief Minister virtually addressed the National Council Meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industries in Visakhapatnam. In his address, Mr. Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh is a strategic region for the manufacturing sector and welcomed entrepreneurs to come forward and invest in the state. He said that he would provide opportunities to develop Visakhapatnam as a fintech hub.
