A Naxalite surrendered before the Central Reserve Police Force in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra on Tuesday. The 35-year-old Naxal joined the supply committee of Naxalites in the Bhairamgarh area of Chhattisgarh state in 2017. He was involved in many violent acts. The Maharashtra government had announced a bounty of 5 lakh rupees on his head. So far, 22 Naxalites have surrendered before Gadchiroli Police in the last two years.
