In Wimbledon Tennis, Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina will take on Barbora Krejcikova of Czech in the Women’s singles Semifinal this evening. Fourth-seeded Rybakina advanced to the last-four stage with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina, while Krejcikova reached the last four with 6-4, 7-6(4) win over Latvian Jelena Ostapenko. In the other Semifinal, seventh-seeded Italian Jasmine Paolini will face Croatia’s Donna Vekic. It will be Vekic’s first appearance in the Semifinal of a Major championship.
In Men’s doubles, top seeded Spanish and Argentinian duo Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos will face Austrian pair of Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson in Semifinals today. In other Semifinal, British-finnish duo of Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten will take on New Zealands’ Neal Skupski and Michael Venus, this evening.
In Men’s Singles, Novak Djokovic reached a record 13th Wimbledon Semi-final via a walkover as his quarterfinal opponent, Australian Alex de Minaur withdrew due to injury.
