In Tennis, India’s N. Sriram Balaji and his partner Gonzalo Escobar of Ecuador have advanced to the Men’s Doubles Semifinals at the Braunschweig Challenger, also known as Brawo Open in Braunschweig, Germany last evening. They defeated the pair of Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil and Guillermo Durán of Argentina in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. The top-seeded, Indian-Ecuadorian duo will face the pair of Denys Molchanov of Ukraine and Matwé Middelkoop of Netherlands, seeded fourth, in the semi-final today.
