In Badminton, India’s Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy have stormed into the men’s doubles final of the Thailand Open Badminton in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday (18th May 2024) afternoon. The ace Indian shuttlers secured a decisive victory in the semi-final, over the Taiwanese pair of M. C. Lu and Tang Kai Wei, in straight games, 21-11, 21-12. Shetty and Rankireddy will lock horns with Liu Yi of Taiwan and Chen Boyang of China in the final on Sunday (19th May 2024).
While, in women’s doubles, India’s star duo of Tanisha Castro and Ashwini Ponnappa are set to play against R. Prajongjai and J. Kititharakul of Thailand on Saturday (18th May 2024) evening. The semifinal will is scheduled to start at 4.10 PM, IST.
