Senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah is chairing the State BJP Parliamentary Board meeting at Gandhinagar in Gujarat today. The three-day meeting is being held to finalize the names of BJP candidates for the upcoming assembly elections.AIR correspondent reports that on the first day, the board is finalizing contestants for 47 assembly seats spread over 13 districts. The names decided will be placed before the Central Parliamentary Board for final approval. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, State BJP President CR Patil, and members of the State Parliamentary Board are attending the meeting.
