Selected Products made by Women SHGs to be sold through Patanjali Stores

An MoU was signed between Rural Development Ministry and Patanjali today to build on and leverage on mutual strengths of Self Help Groups of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojna – National Rural Livelihoods Mission. Chairing the MoU signing ceremony, Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh termed it as an important step in helping rural SHG women attain an aspirational income of at least one lakh rupees per annum. Under the MoU, selected products made by Women Self Help Groups will be sold through Patanjali Stores. National Rural Livelihoods Mission has been undertaking several efforts in supporting businesses run by rural SHG women that are engaged in producing food products, handicrafts and hand-loom.
