Odisha: Puri all set to welcome President Droupadi Murmu

In Odisha, the holy city of Puri is all set to welcome the President of India Droupadi Murmu tomorrow. In her first ever visit to the state after becoming the president of India, Smt Murmu will offer her prayers before the deities in the Sri Jagannath Temple. Accordingly, the district as well as temple administration have made elaborate arrangements in view of the visit. About 25 platoons of police force alongwith more than one hundred police officers will man the overall security arrangements.
Ahead of the visit of the President of India to the state,capital Bhubaneswar as well as the holy city of Puri witnessed carcade rehearsals and other protocol based exercises. According to information, the President will arrive in capital Bhubaneswar tomorrow and proceed to Puri to have darshan of the trinity in the Sri Jagannath Temple before returning to the capital. She is also scheduled to visit a couple of places in Bhubaneswar the day after before flying back to New Delhi.
