Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made it clear that Bharat Urea will be the only brand of Urea that will be made available for farmers in the country. Addressing people, especially farmers after dedicating the Ramagundam Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) to the nation, he said the price and quality will be pre-determined.Elaborating on various subsidies on fertilisers that are being provided to farmers in the country, the Prime Minister said, earlier farmers used to pay hefty amounts for urea and also used to black-marketed. He stressed the Government has taken several steps not to extend the fertiliser burden to farmers and to provide subsidies.The Prime Minister made it clear that Singareni Coal Collieries Limited would not be privatised. Urging people not to believe rumour mongers in this context, he said, how can the Central Government with 49 per cent share privatise the company in which the State government is holding 51 per cent share. On infrastructure development, the Prime Minister called upon all stakeholders to work united to give Gathi Shakti to take the infrastructure sector next level.Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the RFCL and Bhadrachalam Road-Sathupally railway line project to the nation and laid the foundation stone for three highway expansion projects in the State. Earlier, speaking on the occasion, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy said, the ESI hospital will be constructed immediately after the State government allocates land in Ramagundam. He said the Government is taking all measures for development with commitment. State governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan also attended.
