Under the Special Campaign 2.0, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has undertaken better record management by identifying pending references from Members of Parliament and State Governments, Parliamentary Assurances, and public grievances. Under this campaign, the Ministry has identified 373 physical files and 461 e-Files out of which 231 physical files and 331 e-Files have been reviewed and the task of review is likely to complete before the end of the campaign.On the other hand, Ministry of Science and Technology has reviewed and identified twenty thousand files for weeding out so far. The Ministry also launched an e-Portal that caters to all academic matters related to students.While the Ministry of Space has implemented Special Cleanliness Campaigns in twenty sites including its Department of ISRO. Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has also taken number of initiatives which include various efforts to remove pendency and improve cleanliness in their offices.Under the Special Cleanliness Campaign, Department of Defence has organised cleanliness drives in 4,569 sites across the country. Meanwhile, NITI Aayog is also contributing to this mission by doing Record Management, Cleanliness Indoor and Outdoor and Office Scrap disposal. freeing of space is also being carried out by NITI aayog.
The Campaign 2.0 was launched on 2nd October and will continue till 31st of this month.
