In Uttar Pradesh, the state government signed an agreement today to develop a film city in Greater Noida. The agreement was signed between the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and Bebu Project LLP, a company owned by notable film producer Bonnie Kapoor and Ashish Bhootani. This ambitious project, with an estimated cost of 1,510 crore rupees, is planned to be completed within the next eight years.The initial phase will focus on establishing essential film-related facilities and a film institute. The film city is designed to offer world-class film production amenities, including studios, open sets, hospitality services, and office spaces.
