Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishan Pal Gurjar flagged off the e-vehicle mobile exhibition and road show on Saturday in Faridabad, aimed at promoting electric vehicles. This exhibition was organized under the aegis of the District Administration with special cooperation from Haryana’s New and Renewable Energy Department – HREDA and Argo EV Smart Dhiman.
On this occasion, Mr. Gurjar said that e-vehicles are necessary for a safe future. Encouraging people to adopt electric vehicles, Mr. Gurjar said that various types of initiatives have been taken across the world to avoid the crisis of global warming, the central government is also moving fast in this direction under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that with the new technology, the price of batteries will come down in the coming time, which will reduce the prices of electric vehicles.
Mr. Gurjar said that India has taken many steps to provide a safe future to the coming generation. In particular, steps are being taken rapidly towards green hydrogen and electric vehicles. Apart from this, the energy and industry sector has also taken remarkable steps. The country has achieved special achievement in the direction of generating green energy. He said that the central government has set a target to take the country to zero carbon emission in the coming time.
Many types of electric vehicles like e-cars, e-scooters and e-buses were showcased in the roadshow. Through this program, people were made aware about the advantages of electric vehicles and their environmental benefits. Also, information was given about government schemes and subsidies for adopting these vehicles.
