Union Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Bhupendra Yadav today participated in yoga sessions with probationers of the Indian Forest Service and trainees of the Central State Forest Service Academy at the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun.
On the occasion, the Union Minister established Matri Van by planting a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign organized at the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He urged everyone to join the campaign by planting one sapling each.
Mr. Yadav also interacted with probationers of the Indian Forest Service and trainees of the Central State Forest Service Academy at the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy. He emphasized the crucial role played by forest officers in safeguarding wildlife, biodiversity, and the communities residing in and around forest areas.
