Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai said that in Union Budget 2024-25 several financial provisions have been made which will speed up the development of Bihar. Talking to media in Patna on Sunday, Mr. Rai said, for flood mitigation 11,500 crore rupees have been allocated which will be very helpful for the Northern Bihar which faces fury of flood every year. The Union Minister said the Centre has also approved interest-free loan up to 15,000 crore rupees for Bihar which will be great help for the state. He also said during the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi share of Bihar in tax devolution has increased to 107 per cent.
