Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh said his ministry will explore new avenues of employment in textiles and allied sectors in Bihar. Talking to media in Patna, Mr. Singh said his ministry and state officials will work in collaboration so that people of Bihar can benefit. He said there is huge potential in this sector including readymade garment making and Bihar can perform better in this area also.
Earlier, the union minister also held discussions with state industry minister Nitish Mishra and other senior officials of the department.
