The Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into the remaining parts of the North Arabian Sea in Gujarat, some more parts of Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh, most parts of Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, some parts of Punjab and Eastern Uttar Pradesh today. Conditions are likely to become favorable for further advance of the Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Rajasthan, the remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, some more parts of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chandigarh, and some parts of Haryana, Punjab, and the remaining parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu during the next two to three days. Meanwhile, various parts of Delhi and its adjoining areas received moderate to heavy rainfall this morning. The pre-monsoon showers brought much-needed respite to the people from the hot and humid weather conditions in the National Capital and its adjoining areas. The rainfall also brought down the temperature, making the weather pleasant.
