The government is targeting to increase country’s defence export to 50 thousand crore rupees in the next five years.
Assuming the charge of his ministry, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that India has already exported defence equipment worth over 21 thousand crore rupees, which is historic.
He said the government wants to develop a strong and Aatmanirbhar Bharat and the security of the country and welfare of the security forces will continue to remain his priority.
