President Droupadi Murmu has emphasised the need of inculcating spiritual values saying that spiritual empowerment is the real empowerment. The President said that spiritual values bind the people of all religions together. President Murmu was addressing the gathering at the National Launch of Spiritual Empowerment for a Clean and Healthy Society at a function organised at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi by Brahma Kumaris. President Murmu also appreciated Brahma Kumaris for organising various programmes for imparting spiritual values among the youth. She said that Brahma Kumaris organisation led by women is one of the biggest spiritual organisation in the world.
