PM, Senior BJP Leader Narendra Modi To Take Part In Election Campaigning In Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi will take part in election campaigning in Andhra Pradesh today to drum up support for the NDA. Mr. Modi will participate in public meetings in Rajampet Lok Sabha Constituency at 4 p.m. and later in a road show in Vijayawada. Former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, is contesting from the Rajampet Lok Sabha seat as a BJP candidate, and former Union Minister Sujana Chowdary is contesting from the Vijayawada West Assembly seat.
 
 
 
Telugu Desam Party Chief, N Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena Party Chief, film actor K Pawan Kalyan, and senior BJP leaders will also participate in the public meeting and road show. This is Mr. Modi’s third visit to Andhra Pradesh after the announcement of the election schedule. The BJP, the Telugu Desam Party, and the Jena Sena Party are part of the NDA alliance. The BJP is contesting in 10 assembly and 6 Lok Sabha constituencies in the single-phase election to be held on May 13 in Andhra Pradesh.
