Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated a wide range of community efforts to protect elephants on the occasion of World Elephant Day. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that elephants are linked to our culture and history. He has reiterated his commitment to provide everything possible to ensure elephants get a conducive habitat where they can thrive.
Mr Modi has expressed appreciation for the rise in elephant numbers over the years.
