Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Indian Olympic Contingent who participated in the Paris Olympics at his residence today in New Delhi. The Prime Minister also interacted with the players. Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and Indian Olympic Association President P T Usha were also present at the Prime Minister’s residence during the interaction.
The Indian athletes secured a total of six medals during their campaign at the Paris Olympics, with medals won by Manu Bhaker, Sarabjot Singh, Swapnil Kusale, the Indian men’s Hockey team and Neeraj Chopra.
