A two-tier security system has been implemented for EVM and VVPAT machines after the voting for general elections held in Delhi on the 25th of this month. Delhi Chief Electoral Officer P. Krishnamurthy today announced that these arrangements have been made as per the security protocol of voting. In a press release, the Office of Delhi CEO informed that Central armed paramilitary forces have been deployed in the inner circle of the strong room, while Delhi Police is guarding the outer circle. Meanwhile, the sealed doors of strong rooms and corridors are being monitored through CCTV cameras all day long.
