The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heat wave conditions over parts of east India, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh during next four days. It has forecast heat wave conditions over Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Punjab and Haryana. IMD said, the maximum temperature will rise by about 2 to 3 degree Celsius over East India during the next two days.
On the other hand, the weather office has also forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Maharashtra and North Interior Karnataka during next five days. Isolated heavy rainfall is also likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.
