India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura for today and tomorrow. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, IMD scientist Dr. Naresh Kumar said heavy to very heavy rainfall activity is also expected in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and the South Peninsular area.
