Health Secretary Apurva Chandra reviewed health preparedness for Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Speaking to media, he informed about the Pithhu Ambulance service where oxygen cylinders are continuously made available on the Yatra track on horseback. He said more than 2.5 lakh devotees have already visited in the first 15 days of the Yatra. He stressed that very well equipped medical facilities have been provided at the base camps.
