In by-elections held on Wednesday for 13 Assembly Constituencies of seven states, the first seven results have come so far from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party has won the Jalandhar West reserved assembly seat. In Himachal, ruling Congress won two seats while, BJP bagged one seats. In West Bengal, ruling All India Trinamool Congress won Raiganj, Ranaghat Dakshin and Bagda seats. Counting for remaining constituencies is underway in 7 Assembly Constituencies seats.
In the Rupauli assembly seat of Bihar, independent candidate Shankar Singh is currently leading by over eight thousand votes.
In Tamil Nadu, DMK candidate Anniyur Siva is leading with a huge margin in the Vikravandi Assembly by poll.
