The Income Tax Department has collected over Six lakh 45 thousand crore rupees as direct tax for the financial year 2024-25 as well as has issued refunds of 70 thousand 902 crore rupees till 11th of this month.
The Data released by the Income Tax Department highlighted, the total collection comprises Two lakh 65 thousand 336 Corporate Tax, Three lakh 61 thousand 862 crore rupees Personal Income Tax and one thousand 426 crore rupees other taxes. The data mentioned that 5 lakh 74 thousand 357 crore rupees were collected as Net Collection.
