The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities has invited applications for National Awards for Institutions engaged in empowering persons with disabilities. Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry has said that the objective of the award is to empower, recognize, and encourage organizations working for the cause of empowerment of persons with Disabilities. The online nomination for National Awards 2024 is open till 31st of this month. The Department confers awards on Individuals, Institutions, Organizations, States and Districts every year on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, 3rd December.
