Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that democracy in India is getting stronger day by day and it has earned a special place in the world based on its democratic strength. Mr. Singh was speaking at a worker felicitation function organized in his parliamentary constituency Lucknow today. The Defence Minister said that over the last ten years, the direction and condition of the country, as well as the mood of the people, have changed. Referring to the effective policies and achievements of the Central government, Mr. Singh said that over the last 10 years, not only has India’s stature increased at the international level, but now it is taken seriously and all countries listen to India with open ears.
