The test papers of Chemistry, Biology English and General Test for the Common University Entrance Test – CUET (UG) were conducted today in Centres across Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad. The examination was conducted for about 1.52 lakh candidates with. The National Testing Agency in a statement said that Knowledge Tradition and Practices in India test paper was also conducted today along with some affected candidates in specific subjects in the cities of Kanpur, Indore, Goa, and Siwan. The Agency added that proactive steps have been taken by the NTA to support the students’ community by conducting the examination in Silchar, Assam for those candidates who were facing difficulties in appearing at the Centres outside Silchar for Bengali and EnvironmentalStudies test papers.
The NTA has also made special arrangements to accommodate a single candidate residing in Germany by facilitating her to appear for the CUET (UG) – 2024 with the support of the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Germany for the test papers Chemistry, Biology , English and General Test .With this, the CUET (UG) – 2024 examination was completed in all cities in the country and abroad reducing the exam duration from 34 days last year to 8 days this year. Earlier, the CUET (UG) – 2024 was conducted by the NTA from 15th of 24th of this month at various Examination Centres located in 379 cities including 26 cities outside India, for about 13.48 lacs candidates.
