The Maharashtra unit of the ruling BJP held a core committee meeting at the party headquarters in Mumbai yesterday. Those who attended the meeting include Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP State in-charge C T Ravi, national joint organizational General Secretary Shiv Prakash, State president Chandrashekhar Bawankule and State ministers belonging to the BJP. This was informed by Devendra Fadnavis via a tweet.Speaking to the media after the meeting, BJP State president Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that they would fight all elections, including for municipal corporations, Zilla Parishad and Lok Sabha, with Chief minister Eknath Shinde-led faction of the Shiv Sena. He expressed confidence that the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition would win more than 200 seats in elections. He informed that they have plans to win more than 45 Lok Sabha seats from Maharashtra. In reply to a question, he said the government has taken 80 decisions since it came to power.
