In the Kallakurichi Hooch tragedy, out of the total 165 people who were affected by drinking illicit liquor, 47 people have died and 118 persons are under treatment at various hospitals. In an interaction with the media at Kallakurichi, District Collector M.S.Prasanth said today that out of 118 people who are under treatment 6 people are in critical condition. The condition of 68 people is getting better after treatment.
Meanwhile, all the four arrested in the Hooch tragedy have been remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.
