Indian companies showcase their manufacturing capabilities at DefExpo 2022

Defense PSUs and indigenous private sector defence manufacturers have set up their stalls to showcase their products at the Helipad Exhibition Centre at Gandhinagar. Representatives from more than 75 countries are attending the DefExpo 2022. It is the first-ever edition of DefExpo to exclusively feature Indian companies.Indian companies are showcasing a range of defence products manufactured by them like Anti-UAV directed energy weapons by Light Guide Optics and Shooting Range solutions by Zen technologies.Indian Army is showcasing the defence systems procured from Indian companies like Long Range Reconnaissance system developed by Tata and advanced combat drones developed by Raphe mPhibr. The Army is also displaying the currently imported equipment to the Indian companies to encourage them to manufacture these in India.1340 companies are registered to participate in DefExpo 2022, making it the biggest Indian defence exhibition to date. This biennial exhibition is organised to support, showcase and forge partnerships for the Indian aerospace and defence manufacturing sector with Indian as well as global customers.
