In Tamil Nadu, Governor R N Ravi participated in the Yoga celebration at Coimbatore. Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan also performed Yoga at Coimbatore. Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth performed Yoga at Rameswaram. Central Government departments also have arranged Yoga events in various places in and around Chennai.
