Tamil Nadu: FM Nirmala Sitharaman hands over appointment letters to 230 beneficiaries of Union Govt

In Tamil Nadu, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today interacted with the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Rozgar Yojana at Chennai. Later she handed over appointment letters to 230 beneficiaries for employment at various departments of the Union Government.The beneficiaries expressed happiness at the initiative of the Government in providing employment which paved way for the betterment of their future and thanked the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking to the beneficiaries at Coimbatore, Minister of State for Social Justice Narayanasamy said this was a gift for Diwali from the Prime Minister. He said that the occasion assumes significance that while India is celebrating 75 years, 75 thousand youth have been provided employment by the Government. He said that due to the continuous efforts of the Government, the Make in India projects and the start-up schemes of the Government have provided ample opportunities for a bright future for the country. He said that through the Make In India projects, the imports have reduced and domestic production has increased.
