Delhi Environment Minister, Gopal Rai has requested the UP and Haryana governments to form a regional special task force to combat the menace of rising air pollution in Delhi and its adjoining areas.Addressing the media in New Delhi today, the Minister said, pollution was expected to rise from 1st of November and the Delhi government is doing everything to control it.He said, support from other state governments is needed to combat this problem as it is not only the problem of one state. Mr Rai also urged people to work from home as much as possible and avoid commuting by private vehicles.He said, stubble burning, waste burning and dust from constructing sites are the three components responsible for the severe pollution in Delhi every year.
