In the Forex market today, the Indian rupee appreciated 11 paisa and closed at 83 rupee and 46 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was down by 0.15 percent at 105.89 in intra-day trade.
