Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh to take place on Nov 12, election campaign gains momentum

In Himachal Pradesh, 10 days are left for the assembly elections to be held in the state on 12th November.Apart from the major political parties BJP and Congress, star campaigners of other parties are also urging public support by holding election rallies in favor of their candidates.
While BJP is campaigning through its Vijay Sankalp rallies, Congress is trying to come to power through Parivartan rallies. Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today targeted the Congress while addressing an election rally at Nadaun in Hamirpur district on the second day of his visit. He said Congress does not have any issues today whereas Himachal’s development is due to double-engine government at the Center and the state.He said the double-engine government has done excellent work in the field of roads, health, hydropower, sanitation, agriculture, and education in the state. He added that his party would once again return to power with an absolute majority as people are aware of the development work done by the BJP government in the state

Home Minister Amit Shah will also address election rallies at Dharamsala in Kangra district and Nalagarh Assembly constituency of Solan district today, November 2.On the other hand, Congress hit back at the BJP and said that today the people of Himachal are badly affected by the anti-people policies and decisions of the BJP and this is the reason that unemployment and inflation are increasing in the state today. Star campaigners of Congress are campaigning in different areas of the state.
